With such a strong blue colour presence in this painting, the hint is to resonate healing and peace along with the heaviness of having lost someone dear.

The painting has traces of the loving memory that I carry of my own mother and how I feel her presence with me when I smell the flowers we both loved and ride my bike around the places where the sent in the air in spring reminds me of my childhood memories. Then she is with me. And the grief that we carry when we miss someone, I think, gets a lot further away, and their loving presence a little closer.
