Oblivion
Oblivion
Step closer. Let yourself fall into the stillness.
This is not just a painting—this is a moment suspended, where shadow meets silver and silence begins to speak. Oblivion was born in the quiet aftermath of a storm, a song echoing through headphones while darker thoughts echoed deeper within.
From the shimmering resin surface emerges a portrait—not whole, not broken, but becoming. Half of a face, side-turned, ink-dripped, vulnerable in its melancholy. It stares out softly, not to confront, but to be seen. This is what it looks like to give form to the void.
Rather than banishing the darkness, I chose to sculpt it. To silver the frame like armor, seal the ache in resin, and let beauty rise through the ink. Oblivion is a conversation between despair and grace—a visual requiem for the weight we carry, and a reminder that even our shadows can be made into something that glows.
